Alex,
I remember the first time we met; it was at Borders Books at Metrocenter, in Phoenix. I walked in that evening and heard beautiful music (solo piano)emanating from the coffee bar. As I approached you sat poised and effortlessly poured your heart into and out of your piano. I remember we spoke briefly after each song, I helped you load your equipment out after you finished for the evening and I realized at that moment, I had met a life long friend. You have touched my life profoundly Alex, I thank you for each moment and note that you have so generously shared with and played for me...

Alex, I met you once at a mall in Denver during college, and remember chatting with you for quite sometime. Since then I'm now a Mommy and Soldiers Wife, your music gets me through lonely nights of a deployment, and rough days with the babies. Thanks for sharing your gift with the world, and with me.

I am a big fan of your music. I was introduced to it on te islands of Hawaii, where the peacful atmosphere was made perfect with your music. I have one question, which I am sure you get a lot, do you publish your music? I have played piano ever since I can remember, but one thing I can't learn is your music, which I would love to, given the opportunity. You have a great compilation of soothing music. She found your website and told you about this, and you were kind enough to send her your new cd and tickets to your next show. I have been an avid fan of Alex Grant since the first time I heard him play about 10 years ago in a local bookstore and then again in the Arizona Mills Mall. I was able to see him play in a small gathering in scottsdale and loved it. I have all his cds and still listen to them often. I did purchase his latest. I have to say that I was disappointed. If the "new sound' is truly your passion Alex then by all means GO FOR IT. But....if it's just something you're trying to see if it might boost recognition of sorts and it ISN'T a true passion....my opinion is that it truly took away from the pure beauty of your piano work. It distracted from the essence of what I personally fell in love with in your music. I'm sorry. I miss the true piano work that you do so well. PLEASE be true to your art, your heart and your work. If the newest cd really does that than I wish you al the luck in the world. If it doesn't........rethink what you REALLY love about your music.

I am so delighted to find your music again! I bought a couple of your CD's at a Unity church in Phoenix, AZ and now lice in Oklahoma. I had given up hope of finding your music. I used it for some creative writing papers and it really helped me. Please keep writing music, you have a wonderful gift!
