I'm literally listening to "Elements" for the first time as I type (I found it at Borders last night). We bumped into to you and Susie at the Greeley Mall in Greeley (can't remember the year (about 2002) but we purchased "Old Father Road" and loved it. "Elements" is uplifting, encouraging, and motivating". Absolutely thrilled! Hope to come see you again soon!

Hi Alex,
I just reconnected with a couple of high school friends (Hazelwood 1972!)and they told me about you and your music. I immediately went to your website and took a listen. I will be ordering your CDs. I lived 8 years in NC along the coast. The thing I miss about that area is the ocean and beaches. Your music reminds me of some of the most peaceful and enjoyable times I had there. Thanks so much for following your dream. It has been a good one!

I first heard your music on thesixtyone.com and instantly loved it. I was wonder however is there a way i could get the music sheet for "Mothers Dream" and " Happy in Scotland" i showed those two songs to our pianist and she said she would love to play them.

Glad you followed your passion; so few of us do. Not only are you benefitting from your "wake up call", but the rest of us are too. We are able to enjoy the beautiful music you make. I am so glad that my husband and I heard you playing as we were passing through Borders. I stopped mid-sentence and was literally drawn to where you were playing.

About 6 or 7 years ago, I was visiting my daughter in Denver (Westminster) and I heard you playing your piano at the local mall there. It was right around Christmas time. Your music drew me to you where I promptly bought your CD, "Evenings Last Light" It is by far, my favorite music CD when I need soothing. I play it at work for a good part of the day. I will be obtaining more music.

I googled myself about 1 year ago and found your music and I just wanted to tell that the sound that comes from your piano is the most comforting and emotional notes I have ever heard! My favorite song is The Promise In Our Fields, it is incredible!

I remember coming to watch you every lunch hour at the Westminster mall. My favorite song is still The Dancing. I gave away all of your CD's to a lady who was looking for music to play in her candle shop. I went to my car and had her play your music over the shops sound system and she loved it!! So I let her have all your CD's. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to by another set. Hopefully I will be able to find Metaphore somewhere so I can buy it again when I have the money. We even discussed the possibility of me playing the drums for you. Anyway, I still love your music and I can't wait to be able to hear it again. Your music is and always has been good for my soul.

Hey Alex, my husband and I met you way back in 96-98 at the Borders bookstore in Tucson or Phoenix, I've forgotten which one. I still just love your first two CD's, 'Evening's Last Light' and 'Metaphor.' I'm glad to see you're still playing the piano. I remember the first day I heard your music...I was walking through the AZ Mills mall and heard this wonderful piano music. Never have I been so drawn to music. I bought both of your CDs that day, and later went to see you in concert in Chandler. When you moved to Colorado, I thought you were done playing. When I put your CD in today at work, I thought I'd try looking up your website to see if you were still around. To my surprise, you are! I'm glad to see you have a new CD that I don't own because I'll be purchasing it! Thank you for the incredibly soothing music. It puts me in another place (even when I'm sitting in a cubicle at work). Best wishes to you as you continue your career in Colorado.

I recently discovered your music at a local borders and am now quite completely taken with it. I love listening to your creations for their own sake, but also use many of them in the compilations that I play as I work (I am a massage therapist). I remember the first time we met; it was at Borders Books at Metrocenter, in Phoenix. I walked in that evening and heard beautiful music (solo piano)emanating from the coffee bar. As I approached you sat poised and effortlessly poured your heart into and out of your piano. I remember we spoke briefly after each song, I helped you load your equipment out after you finished for the evening and I realized at that moment, I had met a life long friend. I have been an avid fan of Alex Grant since the first time I heard him play about 10 years ago in a local bookstore and then again in the Arizona Mills Mall. I was able to see him play in a small gathering in scottsdale and loved it. I have all his cds and still listen to them often. I did purchase his latest. I have to say that I was disappointed. If the "new sound' is truly your passion Alex then by all means GO FOR IT. But....if it's just something you're trying to see if it might boost recognition of sorts and it ISN'T a true passion....my opinion is that it truly took away from the pure beauty of your piano work. It distracted from the essence of what I personally fell in love with in your music. I'm sorry. I miss the true piano work that you do so well. PLEASE be true to your art, your heart and your work. If the newest cd really does that than I wish you al the luck in the world. If it doesn't........rethink what you REALLY love about your music.
